The Discrepancy Model, developed by Stufflebeam, measures the mismatch between established standards or goals and the actual results achieved in an educational context. This study applies an evaluation approach using the main components of the Discrepancy Model, which include goals (standards), indicators (performance), and discrepancies (gaps). The evaluation methods employed include the collection of both quantitative and qualitative data through surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the evaluation reveal a significant gap between the educational targets set by the institution and the outcomes achieved by the students. Several factors influencing this gap include limited resources, a curriculum that does not align with students' needs, and insufficient training for educators. Based on these findings, it is recommended to improve the formulation of educational program goals, enhance teacher training, and adjust the curriculum to make it more relevant to contemporary developments and the needs of the students. This evaluation is expected to provide recommendations for optimizing the quality of educational programs.
Muhammad Azmi Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/322 Tue, 10 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 DAMPAK PERNIKAHAN DALAM MASA STUDI PADA PERKULIAHAN MAHASISWA DI SEKOLAH TINGGI AGAMA ISLAM DARUD DAKWAH WAL-IRSYAD (STAI DDI) MAROS https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/323
Marriage is one of the sacred natural laws for all human beings because it can keep someone away from corruption and bring safety in both this world and the hereafter. Meanwhile, seeking knowledge is an obligation for everyone, especially for Muslims. For a student, marriage is not a simple or ordinary matter to undertake, as in addition to studying and seeking knowledge, they must also fulfill their duties as a husband or wife. This certainly carries significant consequences, and not everyone is able to handle these dual roles. Therefore, this research aims to understand the reasons why students decide to marry during their studies and to describe the impacts of marriage on students' academic life. This study is qualitative research using a descriptive method, with data obtained from both primary and secondary sources. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the reasons students decide to marry during their studies include feeling prepared both physically and mentally to enter marriage, not wanting to delay because they have found the right partner to follow Islamic teachings, and to avoid the temptation of zina (fornication), as well as being arranged or encouraged by their parents. Meanwhile, the positive impacts of marriage during study include increased enthusiasm and motivation from their partner, which boosts their academic spirit, and personal maturity, making them more responsible. On the other hand, the negative impacts include decreased active participation in lectures due to several factors.
Masita Masita, Muh. The research material obtained was analyzed descriptively with a qualitative approach. The results of this study illustrate the psychology of incestuous children in Islamic law with the conclusion that in the A-Quran and Hadith, incest is a marriage that is forbidden based on Q.S. An-Nisa paragraph (4) 23, as well as in Article 8 of Law Number 1 of 1974 and Articles 39, 40 and 41 of the Compilation of Islamic Law; A legitimate child, a child whose marriage is legal either according to article 42 of Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning marriage and article 99a of the Compilation of Islamic Law. If there is a marriage, then the child resulting from Incest which is concluded is only a matter of lineage, namely; if at the beginning of the marriage both parties do not know the blood relationship between them; in the case that the wife only finds out about the blood relationship between herself and her husband after her husband dies; if it turns out that the wife actually already knows the state of the blood relationship between her and her husband (who is also her biological father), but still hides this knowledge from her husband (who is also her biological father) even though she is aware of the prohibition against marriage between them; if the wife finds out their blood relationship status after the birth of their child, and then they divorce. Children resulting from incest have the potential to experience psychological disorders if they do not get a supportive environment, in their growth and development they have the potential to be ridiculed, bullied, gossiped and even discriminated against in their environment. Psychological disorders can be experienced because of the unclear exit structure when comparing the family structure of friends.
Jusalim Sammak Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/325 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 DAMPAK PENGGUNAAN GADGET TERHADAP PERILAKU ANAK KELAS 3 UPT SD NEGERI 149 INPRES LIMBUNGAN KECAMATAN PATTALLASSANG KABUPATEN TAKALAR https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/326
This study aims to determine the impact of gadget use on the behavior of grade 3 children at UPT SD Negeri 149 Inpres Limbungan, Pattallassang District, Takalar Regency. This approach is adapted from the concept of K.H. Abdullah Gymnastiar (Aa Gym), which emphasizes the importance of purifying and managing the heart (qolbu) as the center of human behavior control. The purpose of this research is to explore the implementation of character education based on the management of the heart, the relevance between character and the heart, and its impact on improving students' character. The method used in this research is a literature review with content analysis of relevant works and supporting literature. The research findings show that the management of the heart consists of three main stages: takhalli (purification of the heart from blameworthy traits), tahalli (filling the heart with praiseworthy qualities), and tajalli (manifestation of good qualities in real actions). The implementation of this concept involves spiritual education through activities such as dhikr (remembrance of God), prayers, role models from educators, and the habituation of positive behaviors. The relationship between character and the management of the heart is very close, as a clean heart reflects good character, while a corrupted heart produces undesirable behavior. The impact of applying this innovation is evident in the improvement of students' character, better self-control, and strengthening of moral and spiritual qualities. Thus, character education based on the management of the heart can be an effective strategy in building a generation that is intelligent, faithful, and of noble character amidst the challenges of the modern era.
Mumtahanah Mumtahanah Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/327 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700 PERAN KELUARGA DALAM MEMBANGUN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/328
This study examines the role of the family in building character education for early childhood, focusing on the teaching of moral values, the habituation of good behavior, parental role modeling, and effective communication. The family, as the first and primary environment, has a significant influence on the formation of a child's character, particularly during early childhood, which is a critical developmental period. The findings of the study reveal that moral values such as honesty, responsibility, and empathy can be instilled through daily interactions at home. The habituation of positive behaviors, such as speaking politely, respecting others, and managing emotions, plays a central role in character formation. Furthermore, parental role modeling in demonstrating good behavior greatly influences children to imitate and internalize these values. Effective communication, where children feel valued and heard, is also crucial in building strong character. Despite challenges such as parental busyness and a lack of understanding of the importance of character education, the study shows that families play a significant role in shaping children’s character. Therefore, collaboration between families, schools, and communities is essential to support character education for early childhood.
Zulfah Zulfah Copyright (c) 2024 2024 https://ejurnal.staiddimaros.ac.id/index.php/maruki/article/view/328 Mon, 30 Dec 2024 00:00:00 +0700
