Abstract

This study aims to understand the roles and challenges of educators in implementing inclusive education in schools. Using a qualitative method, the research involved in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to educators’ experiences in addressing diverse student needs. The results show that educators play a primary role as facilitators who create inclusive learning environments where every student feels welcomed and supported. Educators employ various adaptive strategies, such as project-based learning methods and the use of visual and audio aids to adjust materials for students with special needs. However, the study also identifies several challenges, including limited access to specialized training and supporting facilities, as well as a lack of social support from the community. Many educators feel underprepared in terms of skills and resources to deliver inclusive learning effectively. Despite these challenges, educators continue to innovate by collaborating with parents, engaging in self-directed learning, and enhancing classroom management skills. The study concludes that educators play a crucial role in the successful implementation of inclusive education. Policy recommendations include increasing training opportunities, providing supporting facilities, and raising public awareness about inclusive education. Comprehensive support will assist educators in achieving effective and sustainable inclusive education
